Down at Plumstead Common, The Ship caught our eye, massive sports pub with a mexican van out the front. Busy with people watching Crystal Palace all but seal their place in the Europa Conference Final. Others played pool, we had a pint and the well priced and thoroughly enjoyable burrito was served on a plate and brought to the table. Great service. Unusual furniture. Many odes to snooker players including the iconic, Mr Maximum himself, Willie Thorne, rip.
But wait was that, christ alive, is that a power plant in middle of plumstead?! Cooling Towers, soar above the skyline, across the common from over yonder... We must investigate.
