Its the finnaaaal sessions, doo doo doo, duh duh duh duh duh (of the year).
We’re in New Cross in the borough of Lewisham, which has a lower life expectancy for women than any other London Borough. Though New Cross, home to new rave, also has a decent amount of drinking venues which we enjoyed last night.
First up was the Marquis of Granby, Irish pub with the Landlady and a couple of helpers behind the bar. Whilst it was very traditional and honest, the clientelle was a lot younger than we imagined, probably to do with Goldsmiths being across the road.
Special shout for the original IT Box which have disappeared in most pubs to be replaced by digital fruitys.
Drink protectors at the bar which is an unfortunate but required sight ☹️
Really great place, massive with a central bar, quick service and good prices.
