The Perseverence

Bit of a switch-up this month! Shocking diary management meant the grown-ups who usually run Sessions, plan the route, and tell us all what to do weren’t around. As a result, we footsoldiers rallied round to cobble a last-minute route of our East End favourites.

So with a hop, skip and a click of Cockney heels, we took to the Hackney streets with plenty of questions to ponder. Could Joey G seize his chance and step up to fill the leadership void? Would our much-loved boozers still all be in business? And how long would it take until someone mentioned #WiganGate?

First stop was London Fields favourite The Perseverance. Many fond memories here but not much to report on this occasion. It was early doors and fairly quiet, so we chopped our pints, grabbed a landscape photo 🤦‍♂️, and made our way along the canal.
