Whilst we tried the Hope and Anchor, Festival Inn and Callaghans, none appeared to be open, thus we took the jaunt up to Bromley by Bow to visit The Beehive. Great service from the ladies behind the bar who dealt with some unruly essex wideboys, who’d had a few too many, well. We were in bits by this point though eventually managed to get on a table with a heater and did some shots to pass the time. Crisp dinner and 8 pints on a wednesday felt great, we’re so happy to be back and glad to see many pubs back open - even with the outdoor restrictions. Roll on the 17th May. 🍻🍺
