We’re back babbbby! A smaller sessions with just three members and a guest to kick off the end of lockdown v1.0. We started at The Royal Sovereign in Clapton. The pub appears to have had a small makeover and now sells Beavertown and Pizza alongside the standard lagers however the clientele remained local and was a jolly day for everyone involved. No middle urinal, handsanitiser and a check in sheet ensured the patrons remained coronavirus free. Birra Moretti for the first pint post lockdown and it was devine. Very nice and friendly staff who seemed to know 90% of the people inside.

A short walk and we arrived at the Royal Sovereign, to be greeted by the smell of the pizza oven, wishing we’d held off that fried chicken. Mixed clientele with most people coming seemingly for the food rather than just a pint. Some extravagant lampshades and dim lighting made for an enjoyable place to have a drink. Five bikes piled up on the way to the toilets and a fine selection of board games. On we moved.
