Gooood day to you all. Pub sessions is back and in Leytonstone! And you can’t come to Leytonstone without visiting The North Star.
Tucked away off the main road down a little side street - you’re transported away from the McDonalds and Wetherspoons into a village-esque road centred around this magnificent pub. Joe commented “I could be in Yorkshire” to give you a flavour of where his mind was.
Recently refurbed but under the same ownership I believe, The North Star offers a vast array of beers, a thai kitchen and even a pizza hut in the garden. Its combined modern pub offerings whilst retaining the charm and communtiy of a traditional pub.
As we had to work our schedule around watching Arsenal get demolished we only had time for one before we scurried down the high road for venue 2.
To sum up, a pub for all in a tiny pocket shielded from the bustle and anxieties of Leytonstones central business district. Get down there.
