Formerly the Cowley Arms and Loaded Dog, the Shepherds Inn is now a Lithuanian restaurant. We were going to swerve this one, though low and behold it had the football on, albeit with a few technical issues.
We settled down with couple of portions of Lithuanian dumplings and goblets of Grimbergen to wash them down. A very polite and intentive waiter was running the show with two other tables occupied. Luckily Tom spotted us through the window as we had neglected to tell him we had left The Bell.
Arsenal were very much dead and buried by this point so we just enjoyed the merriment of eachothers company.
There was a stage in the corner and appears that live music and dancing occurs if you find the right night. Other than ourselves it was very quiet last night and not to ruin everyones meal we continued with our journey across Leytonstone.
