A chaotic journey that saw half of us get a bus and half in an Uber (due to chip shop pit stop), meant we entered Milnes (formally Toolans) in disseray.
Luckily, we managed to get a seat together and a round of solid 'quality approved' Guinness. We were back in business. Music was clearly a priority here - super impressive list of upcoming bands playing every Sunday until the end of April. Particularly intriguing was the brother/sister duo of "Theresa Rodgers and Wildflowers" who were heavily promoted within the pub itself. Looks like they've recently refurbished the inside and flags on the ceiling were a nice touch.
Not much to report here other than Mert tried his best to leave his bag behind before the landlord brought it out whilst we were mid-photo.
