Next up was The Shawl who kindly let us bring in food. We opted for the local Sams Chicken and a Blaze Box which is a mainstay in NW.
Great Guiness at The Shawl which made up for a bit of a timid atmosphere. It was one of those Irish pubs that had been done up. Some fellas were dotted around dutifully drink in silence. Nicholas and his pals from Angies turned up just as we left for the next stop.
