By jingo, this was more like it, The Shanakee, right outside Ealing Broadway Tube, Train and Bus station and overlooking Haven Green. Our second visit to a Shanakee after visiting the Colindale branch in 2019. Different vibe due to the location and footfall provisioned by the adjacent stations but still with a cracking atmosphere. History all over the walls and Shanakee branded polos for the bar staff who confirmed it was the same Shanakee of yesteryear.
I remember reggae music and feeling happy. Cracking spot, get yourself down there.
