“Build it and they shall come” delcared the local friendly bar slug as we entered. That we did. Nice crowd but atmosphere on its arse.

Next on the agenda was The Queen Elizabeth, split into two rooms with no internal through route, the Lizzy is a jewel to behold. Very well maintained with sports, live music and all the drinks needed for a great evening.
Unfortunately even with Courage pints being £3.80, there were very few punters the Thursday we visited. A quiz played on the TV which kept us busy though a visit on a saturday night may be required to soak up all it has to offer.
