Finally we were inside Hitchin, and how cosy it felt. Food had been forgotten and we dived straight in the Rose and Crown. Just one fella in there watching ladies tennis at 10pm. The barmaid seemed happy to see us and gratefully took our music requests to play on her spotify. With Annie Lennox blaring out, it was time to award Jak's Dad who'd gone toe for toe on the pints all evening and was in better shape than some others, the official Yeti, one of a kind, Pub Session logo emblazened on the side, 40oz mug. He was chuffed.
After this we went to another bar which I think was a mexican theme but have no photos of and nothing on googlemaps is ringing a bell. Great sessions.
