On to Hertford Road and the first of what we dubbed the Enfield Triangle. Being a Conservative Members club we weren’t sure if we’d be able to weasel our way in. Jamie knocked on and after an initial rejection, charmed the barmaid in to letting us have one pint. She said we looked dodgy and the revelation that Mert was a teacher was met with “Exactly, you look dodgy” #classictories. Though we did enjoy 3 Carlsberg Pilsner for under a tenner and the place had two full size snooker tables which were being utilised by elderly gents. Very clean and well presented and had a nice community atmosphere albeit a bit quiet. From the window we could see point two of the Enfield Triangle, The Prince Albert. On we jogged.
