Take yourselves back to the start of September and once again, the Sessions SLT were AWOL, so we underlings needed to come up with a masterplan. Mert remembered seeing a place that looked ‘Well Sessions’ while driving his family to a soft play on the North Circular the other week, so that was the full extent of the planning. Neasden here we come!
First up was Tir na nog, which was as Irish as it sounds. Recent names for the pub include Tiffty Toms, The Field or Sal’s Bar. Good Guinness, average lager (more fool me for not reading the room) and screens on all sides showing everything you could possibly hope to bet on. Cash only, a smattering of regulars at the bar, but not much chatter, so we didn’t learn much more about the place. Plenty to be found on Google mind you, ‘colourful’ to say the least. Can’t say much more as we’re still settling the legals from Wigan-gate.
