The Golden Lion, has been on the list for many years after we read an article (also available as a podcast) about how it escaped the developers clutches and the murky actions of its previous pubco. The place has had a facelift since and there is virtually no buildings left standing around it as flats are going up but The Golden Lion has retained its allure. Many single patrons inside reading newspapers, books or just staring into their pints. Comfortable, calm and relaxed in their local.
We took virtually no pictures unfortunately but did manage to arrange a pub sessions away day to coventry (any pub recommendations please send across).
