Simmons

We tried to go to the Lincoln Lounge for our final drop of the night but were told it closed at 11. Very pathetic closing time in 2020. Alas we settled for Simmons which was not the usual place we’d go but we got a seat near the door and it served its purpose well. 15mins or so after arriving we realised someone had nicked Merts bag. While we sat scratching our heads as to how that happened a woman who was likely addicted to heroin came into the bar with his bag and put it back where it was. Mert checked and everything was there. What a magical story. Joe re-enacts the robbery in the photo outside. Well thats it then, Andy flys back to Australia next week refusing to be drawn on whether he’ll be home for the 5th annual xmas pub sessions this year. Time will tell. We’ll miss you Glenpig.
