Look at that crows nest balcony! Canning Town Sessions kicks off at The Alex. Unfriendly faces at the bar and a general overwhelming sense of unease. 👍🏼

Next, we were back in the Alex and the atmosphere seemed more calm and relaxed than 7 years prior. Less topless men, more low lights. The interior looked like it had been treated to a makeover but the salt of the earth character remained. We admired the little touches, the panther lamp, the homemade bonus ball wall chart and the jingle tambourine. Couple of guys came in selling washing detergent capsules for a mighty fine price which the landlady snapped up in seconds.
