One block down the road and we were at pub 4, The Golden Goose Theatre. The moment we entered the barmaid pushed a pint glass off the bar and chaos ensued- “Grab the dog!”
Very unusual building with a theatre on one side and lounge on the other both served by the circular bar which transcended both rooms.
The theatre wasn’t on last night but some sort of meet up was happening. We stuck to the lounge and were accosted by the guy who saved the dog. He gave up as we started a shot game - how many caps does Van Dyk have for Holland? Cookie lost with a ridiculous guess of 114.
Mert sat in this odd chair and there were dog treats in a red skull on the bar. Quite a weird place actually.
