Next up was The William Morris Bar, a place which we’ve rarely seen open though we were in luck, as Keith Christmas was playing there live last night. Whilst we didn’t stay for Keith we did enjoy the support acts.
Free crisps were on offer and a fantastic selection available. Cookie was told to not take the piss when he enquired about taking 6 packs. We settled for 3 packs of Discos to accompany a Newcastle Brown Ale. No draught at this boozer as apparently the owner ripped out the lines following a dispute with Heineken.
Some thoughtful touches though, like the free to use Umbro aftershave in the mens, allowing us to freshen up before we got back on the road.
