Next we wandered to the Trafalgar which we had already learnt had not been able to re-open due to issues with business insurance. We did have a conversation with the landlord who stated “The building has suffered structural damage during the last year and we are not able to get the certifications required for insurance companies. Discussions as to the future of the pub and the site are ongoing, but there is no agreed plan as yet”.
We really hope this place can get back on its feet as it looked incredible and is apparently the oldest freehouse in Wimbledon. 🤞🏼
