We had planned to go to No.8 a couple doors down but it closes at 6pm, also the Olive Branch and the Bill Nicholson look truly incredible though both only open at weekends and match days (another time), so absolutely gasping for refreshment, we went to the Corner Pin. Beavertown’s flagship bar opposite the new Spurs stadium. The sun had finally started to make some effort and we enjoyed the outside seating. A caribbean man on a mobility scooter pulled up and declared that summer was here. Spirits were high. We rejected the pleas of the bar staff to stay for the quiz, we had a date with more pubs.
