@pubsessionsLads and Ladettes, we are playing serious catch up. Inundated with worried messages — is sessions over, have the fellas finally bottled it, or has someone gotten seriously ill and they’ve had to knock it on the head? Whilst by law of averages one of us is likely seriously ill, we don’t know it yet, so we are still mucking about anywhere that will serve us a cold cerveza. Admin has slid and we have not shared our spoils, but do not fear, sessions is alive and well. In February we took a trip to Valencia, on the opening weekend of Las Fallas festival, the fire festival, mainly involving fireworks and burning effigies. It coincided with America starting a war with Iran, which made it all the more poignant. Anyway, we did many a pub and pintxos bar, and here are a series of memories. Doggystyle likely being the best of them all. Culture. Apologies to Iskander, the Swedish/Dutch fella who we accidentally publicly designated a pickpocket until Kenzie realised he knew him and he was sound. Great city.
