Coventry
Batches, M&B Mild and the Sky Blues. The Parkstone Club & Institute was possibly the best.

@pubsessionsFriday night in Coventry. Electic pubs with endless charm and local delicacies. Starting at the Broomfield Tavern in the sun, with the landlords dog keeping watching from above. Next up, some delicious Masala Munch on offer at the Old Dyers Arms seen off with a drop of Worthington Creamflow. At The Four Provinces a pile of Batches (Rolls), with a variety of fillings helped see us through the evening. These were found at nearly all pubs we went and very reasonably priced. The New Craven Street club had an elvis impersonator on and was essentially a front room but full to brim with happy punters. The Hearsall had Karaoke to finish before a return to the Four Provinces for dancing. What a cracking start to the weekend whetting our appetite for more to come the following day.
In our Coventry homes, we speak with an accent exceedingly rare, you want a cathedral we've got one to spare, in our Coventry homes...
Straight into it at midday to the Parkstone Club & Institute, fantastic place, possibly the best we visited. Batches, M&B Mild and Pernod to kick off the activities. Mert turned up with his ruptured achilles which was a good show for a man who also is having a kid in the next few weeks.
Next a little wander down the road we arrived at the Wheatsheaf, packed with Sky Blues. Apparently a fantastic curry house through the restaurant doors opened later.
Trip down the Coventry Building Society Arena before cracking on at The Cherry Tree, Foleshill Gas Club and The Old Windmill.
Absolutely blinding weekend.
