Pub Sessions is scheduled for next week though here’s some highlights from a trip to Clacton On Sea to keep you wet. A town full of funeral directors and mobility scooters, yet peak under the discarded fish ‘n’ chips wrappings and dead seagulls, and theres some pub gems. The best being Youngs with Julie the landlady behind the bar, who also features in the photo outside. Honourable mentions to Aldersgate Inn, whose patrons let us borrow their snooker cues and The Clacton Railway Club who let us bypass the members entry requirement to watch the biggest dart competition we’ve seen in a pub. Great day out and less than £20 day return to Liverpool St Station. Pier and arcades were also visited but no one really cares about that do they 🍻.
